Vitamin D was a nutrient shown on the label in IUs, but is now listed in micrograms (mcg).

    Unit conversion: 1 mcg = 40 IU

So, to find the number of mcg, you need to divide your total number of IUs by 40.   In the case of this product, it would be 1000 IU divided by 40 which yields 25mcg.

As a dietary supplement, adults take one softgel daily or as directed by a health professional.
